Peppermint tea calms the muscles of the stomach and improves the flow of bile, which the body uses to digest fats. As a result, food passes through the stomach more quickly. Steep 1 tsp. dried peppermint leaves in 1 cup boiling water for 10 minutes; strain and cool. Drink 4 to 5 times per day between meals.
Licorice is a natural antacid used for treating stomach ulcers, heartburn, colic, and ongoing inflammation of the lining of the stomach (chronic gastritis). Active compounds in licorice have been shown to inhibit bacteria linked to gastric ulcers and gastritis while also aiding in healing ulcers. Steep 8g of licorice root in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes.
CCF (Coriander-Cumin-Fennel) Ayurveda Tea
Cumin, Coriander and Fennel Tea is one of the simplest and most famous formulas for detoxification.
Coriander seeds – According to Ayurveda, coriander seeds support digestion, combat allergies and reduce bloating.
Cumin – Cumin stimulate digestive enzymes, which would improve nutrient assimilation.
Fennel seeds – In India, fennel seeds are often chewed after meals to support digestion. This herb has been traditionally used to stimulate digestive juices, reduce indigestion, prevent gas, and address constipation.
Steep 1 tsp. of the blended herbs in 1 cup of water for 4-5 minutes.
